Primordial Broth

How strange it is to be anything at all?

Hello, I'm Mollusk/Mo (he/him). I'm a 20 year old college student (ChemE) with a passion for textiles (especially crochet), horror, writing, and ugly things.

I wanted a place to display my art, writing, and musings, as my mind is a busy and overcrowed place in need of an outlet. I'll likely upload photos or snippets of my WIPs, finished pieces, creative process, as well as miscellanious thoughts bouncing around in my head. I also want to try my hand at some amateur media analysis, as I love dissecting the things I love and need to combat this literacy crisis somehow.

Some pieces of media I enjoy are Twin Peaks (have yet to finish The Return), House of Leaves, Who's Lila?, and Disco Elysium. I'm also a huge fan of Mob Psycho 100 and the Ace Attorney games (especially DGS). I love web-weaving and will always find connections and patterns even if they are a bit of a reach, so you'll likely see these things get referenced quite a bit.

List of Current Works in Progress

• Gloves for the winter. First glove is completed but I'm still working on the second one. Once both gloves are completed I will needle-felt a lining to reinforce the stitches, close any gaps between stitches, and add an extra layer of warmth.
• My story/script about an alien that crashes to Earth. I'm still working on the outline/skeleton of the story, so I have a long way to go. More information will be posted as time goes on.
• My game about a father searching for his estranged daughter. It's in its infancy, with only a Google Doc being proof of its existence, but I have a lot of ideas on where I want the story to go.
• A filet crochet tapestry of the Magician Tarot (I only JUST made the pattern last night). It is one of, if not my favorite tarot card. It's funny that I even have a favorite card given that I don't consider myself spiritual. I guess a reading can put a spotlight on things hidden in your subconcious?
